Our Story
Our founder Ciara Winkelmann was fed up searching for a simpler, more practical way to support her tech devices. She set out to create a more versatile product that used only the highest quality sustainable materials.
With nothing but a sea of rigid, uninspired stands out there, she sought a solution that was functional, yet beautifully stylish and in tune with home décor. She put her creativity to work and designed the perfect solution – a tactile beanbag stand, ideal for any homes tabletop.
That’s how the CRIB was born!
We want to transform how we all look at our devices, making everyday use more comfortable, stylish and ethical.
Each and every CRIB is made here in Ireland with real care and effort by a team of people from disadvantaged backgrounds looking for a second chance in life. This social enterprise helps them to develop the skill of sewing, and in turn gives them an opportunity to work towards a better future. The CRIB is happy and proud to be expertly made by this community as they’re helping us support social & environmental change in Ireland.
